It's called "THE SLICK"  because it does not have a loop and is mounted flat.  We listened to our Flats Satchel and Wade Strap owners that needed a rod holder to carry an extra rig or to hold a rod while moving or dealing with a fish on a wade. The SLICK ROD HOLDER is a solution to customer needs.
